Petra and her mum made traditional Croatian meal “Sarma”. I t is hard to make, so mum helped. Sarma is made of minced pork meat (or a mixture 1/2 pork and 1/2 beef meat), rice, onions, garlic, pepper and then rolled in sour cabbage. The spices are traditional Croatian mixture “Vegeta” (dried parsley, carrot, celery,salt, pepper…). Sarma is a winter meal full of vitamin C and it can last for ages in a fridge. Usually it is made during Christmas holidays and New year. ️
